"Dr. Serrano is such an excellent pediatrician. I've really never met a more responsive doctor. My son had been seeing some specialists I was a little ambivalent about, and she listened to my concerns and was instrumental in getting him transferred to an excellent hospital/physician. When I had concerns about his eyes, she returned my call immediately, and gave me advice about whether to take him to the ER, but also mentioned she was going to follow up to see if she could find an ER that would still have an attending pediatric ophthalmologist on duty (it was late in the day) and confirm her recommendations regarding whether to take him in (She did both- and it was so appreciated!) She's incredibly conscientious about following up with me to see how he's doing, making prompt referrals, and being involved and in communication with his other doctors. She's also very thorough at each visit (especially given the constraints of a busy community health center!), and makes sure to ask about or entertain my first-time parent freak outs regarding all manner of health and developmental concerns. Truly fantastic!"
