Pediatric Consultation â€‹

Book this if your child is sick, or you have specific issues or concerns you would like to discuss.  I am able to do on-site: fingerstick testing for infection and blood sugar, rapid strep throat testing, and urine testing for infection.  I can also order further bloodwork as needed. In addition, I can refer your child into the Danish hospital system if they need to see a specialist (not applicable if they have an assigned Danish GP).

Newborns and Infants

At a newborn/well-baby visit we can discuss breastfeeding, normal development and growth, how to keep their brains stimulated and their bodies safe, weight and height plotting, regular milestone checks and the use of validated developmental screening forms.  We can also discuss how to get your baby into a healthy sleep routine.

Some of the topics we can work on at a well-baby visit:

Normal Development- Regular milestone checks and developmental screening using validated tools.

Growth- I weigh and measure your child and plot those data points to give you a sense of your baby's growth. We will have a discussion on how to introduce solids and give your child a healthy diet to promote optimal growth.

Sleep- Learn how to establish healthy sleep hygiene and get your little one to snooze like a pro. We can also tackle co-sleeping deliberations.

Any other wellness concerns-just let me know!
